Things I learned at the Cleveland Museum of Art
This morning, my friend and I visited the Cleveland Art Museum. I’ve been there a bunch of times, but I learned several new things:
1) I still don’t like abstract art. I’m the annoying person in the back of the gallery always saying “I could have done this.”
2) Suits of armor are awesome.
3) What a “ewer” is (“a large jug with a wide mouth, formerly used for carrying water for someone to wash in”)
4) That every single culture EVER has had ewers.
5) Randomly placed potted plants are awesome. Especially when you have to suddenly throw up for no reason whatsoever and need a quick and secluded spot, if not dignified, to puke.
6) Gum and/or toothpaste should be carried everywhere.
7) Art is cool. Everyone should go to art museums.
8) Everyone should also wear their hair in ponytails during these trips. Any sudden vomiting can seriously reduce time to get a friend to hold back your hair. Especially if your friend is busy consulting a map and not noticing that you’re spilling your guts into faux foliage.
9) Cleveland is cool.
